I called the dr and the dr said....

Our beloved Calico is 20 yrs old. She has outlived her 2 children. I called the dr and he said to make her as comfortable as possible. That said, she has a bit of spunk left and when she wants pets she wants them NOW and is prone to nipping a hand to comply with her demands. She is the only cat I've had who actually 'talked' back when I talked to her. She always answers when I call her name.

 Mr. B....*sigh*. Mr. Bettis has a problem with his right leg, something he and I have in common and that's about where the similarities end. He is bent on racing and ripping, barking all the while at the new neighbor dogs. Unfortunately he does not recognize when his leg is finished with all those antics then he comes limping to the door, exhausted and sacks out for hours. Come to think of it, perhaps this isn't such a bad thing after all ;)
I have spoken with his doc as well and he says, some dogs just don't have enough brain power to know their limitations....lol. Doc loves Mr. Bettis. Actually the ENTIRE vet office believes he's the bomb! Maybe they could take him for a week ;)

In a role reversal my doc called me and the doctor said...more stuff. I don't discuss my medical issues with anyone these days but felt that statement fits the post ;).
