My BFF gave this cookie jar to me for Christmas. It's a Longaberger pottery cookie jar and I love it. She knows I collect cookie jars and enjoy baking cookies. This is perfect. I especially like the lid that seals in the freshness.
She also gave me an I Love Lucy calendar called Best Friends. A little stuffed black sheep was also in the gift bag and it has taken residence on the shelf in the bathroom.
So have a cookie while you finish reading the post. I'm eating one for you, Di:).
It was warm and sunny here today. The temp went up to 61 F. I cracked windows and enjoyed the sunshine. The dogs ran in and out a zillion times but it was okay because it was warm and it was an excuse for me to go out with them.

I love the cookie jar! I collect colored glass candy dishes. :)
Ooooooh, that fiber just looks lovely! I posted photos of my fiber today, sure wish I could get to spinning! It'll come, right now I'm working on yarn $! I would love to find an old weel that needs some work & refurbish it, one that's cheap! :P
The colors in that batt are amazing! I didn't know you were a spinner, too. :-)
I use LB canisters because of the seal. Good stuff...
Spin on! I hope to get back up on that horse soon.
I too did not know you spin, so far I have never had the desire to but wow that is some beautiful yarn you are working with there, the colors are totally beautiful Love the cookie jar, I have alot of Longaberger pottery thru the years
Pretty cookie jar... yummy cookies... and Oh, la, la on those colors your spinning up!!
The colors of the yarn you spun are gorgeous and those cookies are some of the best-looking ones I've seen for quite a while. Wish they'd jump off the computer screen and into my hand.
ooh beautiful fiber! I love spinning, it is so relaxing! Clarence looks like he is well loved! I have Hank, Jr. as my sewing machine. Hank, Sr. was my mom's sewing machine and he had an attitude, never liked to work when we needed him to. Mine has the same attitude as well. I have to coax him along and threaten him with the hammer when he won't work!
Pretty pot!
