The eldest daughter has yet to take her fish, Gus to her new place.
His little bowl sat on a stand in the kitchen for awhile until I found Miss Aurora "fish-sitting." So I moved him to the computer/craft room. I happened to notice the bowl was missing approximately 2 inches of water everyday. Knowing water does not evaporate that quickly in a 24 hour period I began to suspect the "fish-sitter" was at work
Sure enough.
I caught her in the act.
Seems she's been drinking Gus's water!
Right before I snapped this picture she and the fish were nose to nose.
Aurora's owner claims she was giving Gus a kiss. Gus's owner said, she was trying to eat him. (I tend to agree with Gus's owner).
Time for Gus to go to his new home.
