Lil' Miss Teapot

I apologize for not posting. It's May and with an active teen, it's a busy month.

Little Miss Teapot received a new sweater. She is very happy and was pleased to get her picture taken on the antique cookstove. I used a skein of dk weight superwash that I dyed just for her spring sweater.
I proudly showed the daughter Lil' Miss Teapot's sweater and she promptly said, "lil miss teapot is chubby. But the sweater is nice."
I reminded her that Lil' Miss Teapot provides a lot of hot tea for her and she shouldn't say unkind things to Lil' Miss Teapot........LOL
The daughter is heading to the prom.
The picture doesn't do justice to the color of the dress. It is a creamy, soft yellow with a net overlay. The overlay fabric has glitter throughout. A friend
loaned the black gloves and rhinstone jewelry.

She has thick, waist length hair and every hairdresser we meet cringes when we ask if they will do an updo. So this year she did it herself. She did a great job and all her friends thought she had it professionally done. She has little rhinestone clips sprinkled throughout the top.
She had a wonderful time at the prom and the after-prom.
Oh.... to be young again.

Look at all that lovely yarn. I really like all the peachy colored ones ... who am I kidding I like them all. I will be stalking TLE soon ( like I do't already)

The prom dress looks fantastic and she did a great job with her hair. I have done my daughter's hair for the formals in the past because I can't see spending $70 for it. It is is crazy what these school dances cost. She looks beautiful, and I think it is great she wanted you to make her dress.

Dang girl! That's some serious yarnage you've got there! Remind me to keep an eye on the Loopy Ewe. :-)

Miss Teapot's new outfit looks good, but your daughter's prom dress is amazing! And she did such a good job on her hair, too! I hope she enjoyed her night.

*shudder* Just made me realize that my last prom was 10 years ago. *goes off to find chocolate*

Wow. What to comment on first?! Your daughter must have been the belle of the ball. Can't wait to help support your Loopy debut!

The teapot sweater is darling, and being chubby helps her keep the tea warmer longer. (Maybe?)

And my beloved Bubbles can bite me; my last prom was MORE than twice that ago... ;)

You certainly are a talented lady. The dress is beautiful and you said it only took a couple of hours. Wow!

Also love the tea cozy including both the design and the colors.
